Truth Behind the Gaming Mask

The Internet is constantly changing and you can never know for sure who you are dealing with. The Internet and world of gaming are places, where people like to hide behind their mask and where they can remain nameless and faceless for eternity. There are many reasons why people hide their real identity and make themselves invisible, but eventually, everyone has their own reasons to act the way they’re acting. There are people who want more privacy and independence and some people want to hide their identity because they do not want to expose their activities which are intended to remain secret. Then there are people like me who want to create something new and interesting content around own mask.

I thought about it for a long time should I use my own name or have a username. Using my own name would have been a lot easier for example in social media because it’s a lot more difficult to get people’s trust if you hide behind a mask. This was perhaps the most difficult question to answer when I started to design this project. My dream is to get the point where I’m able to implement my own ideas in the gaming industry. In the world of gaming, you must choose a username before you can play games and this is the main reason why “I’m hiding behind the mask.” Obviously, it makes my job more difficult in social media, but I just have to deal with it and get through it.
